Today I completed my first marathon. Yeah!In fact, it was before my 40th and I smashed my "going in" time. I was hoping to do it in 4 hours 15 mins, but I actually completed it in 3 hour and 55 mins.
In the evening I went to Arnies (a sports bar), in Newport, with my parents to celebrate my achievement with others from the Bob Roncker's running group.
What a WONDERFUL day. I loved it.
