Last night I watched the Cincinnati "Cyclones" play the West Virgina "Wheeling Nailers" at the US Bank Arena, downtown Cincinnati.
My friends had booked front row seats, so I felt part of the action. It was absolutely thrilling... the speed of the game, the physical side (yes there were 4 fanastic bare knuckled fights!) and the mascot who decided to slide along the ice on his head!!
Unfortunately the "Cyclones" lost 6-3. I was told before the game that a certain type of person goes to ice hockey games... well all I can say is that 90% of the 4,861 crowd did fall within that stereotype (obviously not my friends and I)!
